The Lord's church in the first century church were involved any many works and activities outside of the regular Lord's day worship services (cf. Acts 2.42-47; 4.23-37; 12.5; 13.1-3; 14.27; 15.1-35; 16.40; 20.17-38; 21.5-7, 17-19, etc.). In following their example, we at the church of Christ in Galena have much work and many activties going on outside of our regular assemblies for worship and Bible study.
